Based on the pure Hunminjeongeum system

It is derived from the 〈Hunminjeongeum〉 (Hangeul: 훈민정음; Hanja: 訓民正音) script, which literally translates to 「The Correct Sounds for the Instruction of the People」. For simplicity, it can be referred to as:

  • Filipino: Surat Sejong (수랕 서종)
  • English: Sejong script
  • Korean: Sejonggeul (세종글)

This approach ensures:

  1. Restored original diphthongs: It revives original pronunciations, such as:
    • (ay) = (a) + (i)
    • (uy) = (u) + (i)
  2. Freedom from modern constraints: HangeulIt functions independently of modern Filipino and standard Hangeul spelling conventions and grammatical restrictions.

Strictly phonetic

True to the traditional Baybayin system: spell it exactly as it sounds.

Near 1:1 phoneme mapping

It maintains a nearly exact one-to-one character-to-sound ratio. Any necessary modification is strictly bound to three rules: it must be logical, phonetically close to the original sound, and deeply faithful to King Sejong's design.

Matched to the Filipino syllable system

Syllable blocks align perfectly with the natural, native syllabic patterns found in Philippine languages.

Built for Austronesian Philippines

Engineered to capture authentic pronunciations across the archipelago. In this context, “Filipino language” honors all of the country’s 200+ distinct Austronesian languages and dialects.

Digitally ready

Operates flawlessly on any modern device out-of-the-box. No custom software, zero custom fonts. It can be typed seamlessly using any standard, widely available Hangeul keyboard layouts.

Simple and intuitive to learn

Designed specifically around the intuitive phonetics and familiar rules of Austronesian Philippine languages, making it highly accessible to native speakers.

Future-proof expansion

New Jamo (characters) can be added if it adheres to the guidelines outlined above, and by utilizing King Sejong's original compounding rules to create fresh character combinations whenever required.
